The Chef and his culinary world
Nestled between land and sea, our restaurant celebrates the gastronomic richness of the North and the Opal Coast. At the helm of the kitchen, Chef Martin Delcroix, a local, highlights seasonal products from local fishermen, market gardeners, and farmers. His cuisine combines authenticity and creativity, respecting regional traditions: bouchot mussels, freshly landed fish from Boulogne, vegetables from the maritime plain, and farm cheeses from Boulonnais. Each plate tells a story, that of a territory where generosity is tasted and shared. Whether you are a fan of typical dishes or curious about new flavours, let yourself be guided by a menu inspired by the wind, the sea, and the morning markets. A sincere, local cuisine full of character, served with a smile and the accent of the North.
Customer testimonials
What our customers say about us.
A lovely discovery in Ambleteuse! We had a great meal, the products are fresh and well cooked. The service was a bit slow at the end of the meal, but the team is very pleasant and smiling. Special mention to the fish of the day, perfectly cooked. We will happily return on our next visit to the coast." — Nathalie D., Arras![]()
Authentic atmosphere and generous dishes. The place has a lot of charm, with its checkered tablecloths and Northern cuisine. My husband loved the Welsh, a bit too hearty for me, but very tasty. One small downside: the room was a bit noisy that evening. — Sophie and Marc V., Tournai (Belgium)![]()
Good local food and friendly staffWe stopped here on our way from Calais to Boulogne. The atmosphere was warm and typically French. The fish was excellent, maybe just a bit too much sauce for my taste. Overall, a lovely experience and very fair prices. —![]()
